Ukrainian I-765 Litigation Case Filed

On August 18, 2022, we IMMpact, filed a pro bono class action lawsuit on behalf of Ukrainians who have been paroled into the United States under the Uniting for Ukraine program. Our lawsuit seeks to force the Department of Homeland Security to recognize that Ukrainians who have been paroled into the United States are authorized for employment upon entry, without having to file an I-765 application for an employment authorization document. In addition, our lawsuit seeks to force the Department of Homeland Security to recognize that it should not be charging Ukrainians filing fees associated with the I-765. View our press release here.
